December 26: Terrorist attack Detroit fails: A plane took off from the air , a suspenteed terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab arrested from Northwest Airlines flight 253. More than 270 passenger of Northwestern Flight No 253 had a miraculous escape when an alleged Nigerian terrorist tried to set off explosive. Fortunately explosives failed to explode and the alleged terrorist sustained severe burns while passengers remain unscathed.
Only a few passengers sustained minor non life threatening injuries.The flight was coming from Amsterdam had 278 passengers onboard and had the person named Abdulmuttalib succeeded in his nefarious attempt, the lives of passengers and crew were in real danger.He has been arrested and sent to the hospital for burn injuries.
