Hope that every one is familiar with the famous n one of the most charming lady of her times jennifer jones, al all time favourate actross.
Turner Classic Movies' Summer Under the Stars spends 24 hours with Jennifer Jones beginning at 6 am Monday, August 17. The complete schedule of Jennifer Jones movies airing today is included below and then beneath that you'll find a slideshow featuring vintage collectible images of many of today's Jennifer Jones co-stars.

One of our classic stars who we're lucky to still have with us, Jennifer Jones turned 90 earlier this year but today TCM takes us back to her hey day with all the movies they're airing having been released between 1944 and 1955. A short span compared to some of the other stars being featured on TCM this month, but one in which she managed the bulk of the work leading to her 5 Oscar nominations, including 4 for Best Actress, 1 for Best Supporting Actress. Her single victory came as Best Actress for the title role in "The Song of Bernadette" (1943). While neither that picture nor "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing" (1955), for which Jones received her final nomination, air today, the other three pictures she was nominated for do: "Love Letters" (1945), "Duel in the Sun" (1946) and "Since You Went Away" (1944). The last of those was the one for which she received her Supporting nomination.

While Jones previously appeared in a few movies billed under variations of her birth given name, Phylis Isley, her career was certainly boosted by her relationship with David O. Selznick, who would first give Jones her screen name and later become her husband (the second of 3 including ill-fated actor Robert Walker, who was first). The actress and producer married in 1949 and would remain so until his death in 1965. Despite her peak being relatively short to give you an idea of the impact of Jones' 5 Oscar nominations, including 1 win, it's the same talley racked up by both Susan Hayward and Audrey Hepburn...pretty good company!
