As we know the virus is a curse for the computer world and it damages every thing on your hard disk if you are not fully protected with genuine antivirus or if you use fake antivirus programs. The downside of being connected to the Internet is the eminent vulnerability to tons of computer virus. I have browsed online on some website which is plagued with adverts that say my computer is infected with a spyware. I really don’t believe this kind of fake ads that appear on reputable sites. They are mostly designed to rip off consumers by tempting them to buy worthless antivirus software which would actually infect your PC with a Trojan.
This is a virus propagation threat that comes under the guise of a genuine antivirus program. This has been around for sometime already. Fake software which offers to locate and remove malware, but actually will install a Trojan virus on your unsuspecting system. The scheme lures a visitor to click a link that will purportedly scan your system free of computer virus.
I have observed that you will get persistent warning message of system infection when a fake antimalware or fake antispyware program is installed on your desktop computer. Further, you’ll be advised to upgrade a trial version to remove all virus threats. This sounds very convincing to an ordinary Internet user.
There are several antivirus programs that I think are fake software like Antivirus 2009, AntiVirus Lab 2009, WinAntiSpyware, Antispyware Pro XP and many more. Due to this success many are emulating the scheme. To fight this kind of tactic is to Buy PC Software like antivirus software of reputable brand and from a reputable source website. I hope that this will help prevent the replication of fraud by scammers.
