real housewives of atlanta

At last now that President Obama has announced Judge Sonia Sotomayor as his nominee for the Supreme Court, the residents and observers of our nation’s capital can turn their attention to another equally pressing matter: who will Bravo cast in its reality series “The Real Housewives of D.C.”? On Tuesday that cable channel announced that it was working on a new entry in its “Real Housewives” franchise (which already includes versions set in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and Orange County, Calif.), to take place in Washington. In a news release Frances Berwick, executive vice president and general manager of Bravo Media, said producers were scouting Washington for “influential players, cultural connoisseurs, fashion sophisticates and philanthropic leaders — the people who rub elbows with the most prominent people in the country and easily move in the city’s diverse political and social circles.” No date for the show was announced.
